A common word for this is "faux ami", which means fake friend. For example, the word "un journée" sounds like "a journey" in english. However, the actual translation is "a day".
2) The second part of the knowledge claim states flawed interpretation. This means a fallacious manner of interpreting/deriving the meaning or significance of knowledge.
3) The last part of the knowledge claim talks about presented truth. From the perspective of the speaker, the knowledge they are presenting is true to them. However, due to misinterpretation, this truth may be lost in conversation with someone else.
