Hung's King Temple Complex
history
Hung Temple is a particularly important historical and cultural relic of the nation, built on Hung Mountain - in Phong Chau land - which was the next land of Van Lang State 4,000 years ago.
Hung Temple is built on Hung Mountain (also known as Ca Mountain in the local language or has many different names: Nghia Linh, Nghia Cuong, Hy Cuong, Hy Sơn,Bao Thieu Linh, Bao Thieu Son,..
. It is said that Hung Mountain is the dragon's head facing south, the dragon itself meanders into Mount Twist, Bald Mountain, Pheo Mountain.
According to legend. these are the three vertices “The Three Sons of Forbidden Land" have been worshipped by folk for a very long time.
Architect
Temple Gate
Built in the 2nd year of Khai Dinh (1917). The arched gate is 8.5m high, two floors, 8 roofs, fake roof tiles
The lower floor has a large arched door, the top of the pillar on the upper floor has a smaller arched door, the 4 corners of the roof are decorated with Dragons, embossed with two Nghe.
Between the pillars and the gate are embossed reliefs of two warriors, one holding a spear, one holding a battle ax, wearing armor, and decorated with tigers on his chest.
Summer Temple
Ha Temple was rebuilt on the old ground in the 17th - 18th centuries.
The architecture of the "second" typeface consists of two front and harem buildings, each with three compartments, 1.5m apart.

Thuong Temple

this 2-story building displays over 700 valuable, original items, paintings, and reproductions dating back to Vietnam's glorious history.
Gieng Temple
on the foot of the mountain, there is an ancient well called Ngoc. It was said to be the place where the princess combed her hair.
How to get there
Hung Kings Temple Complex is only 90km from Hanoi Capital. Thus, many tourists choose this attraction for a day trip by motorbike.
From Hanoi, follow the direction to Noi Bai International Airport, passing Thang Long Bridge. Drive on Highway No.2 to Viet Tri City and then 10km more to Hung Kings Temple Complex. It should take you less than 3 hours to the place.
Activities
In Hung Temple Festival, there are a wide range of folk games including
bamboo swings
rice cooking competitions
sacred ball throwing through a ring
human chess
wrestling, lion dance, crossbow shooting, water puppet performance ,....
The local residents often perform the “gheo” and “xoan” singing during the festival.
Tips when visiting Hung's King Temple Complex
Get to Hung Temple relic is available for transportation by tram from parking lots to Hung Temple gate and other places in the complex.
. The service price is quite reasonable, if you go with a large number of people, you can also rent a car to be more active in moving.
