Use of CGI, SFX, VFX, 4K, 8K, 3D, surround sound, streaming services
Computer games: software and platform development - consoles, PCs, smartphones, tablets, handheld gaming devices.
TV: News/weather, soaps, cartoons, outside broadcasts - production is shorter & quicker than film making. Streaming and catch up. Exclusive content such as Disney+, Netflix
Radio: FM, AM and DAB, now multi platform. Radio stations still work to schedules, broadcast clocks. Examples: news, weather, traffic, adverts.
Interactive Media: Websites, Information kiosks, apps on smartphones and tablets, Interactive multimedia - used on computers, Blu Ray/DVD feature selection menus, learning resources, quizzes.
Internet: websites, social media, streaming services, communication e.g. email, VoIP (Skype), online meetings (Zoom, MS Teams), messaging services e.g. WhatsApp
Print publishing: newspapers, magazines, leaflets, posters, brochures, comics. Printing has evolved - better inks and printer technology, computer technology & DTP software.
Evolution of games - VR, higher res graphics, online/multiplayer games

Digital Publishing: only available in digital format, not printed e.g. web graphics, comic & graphic novels, podcasts, computer games, tutorials, blogs & Vlogs.
