Firms have to listen actively to the market, so they know what the customer wants and more likely to sell.
McDonald's changed their foods a lot according to what people liked and what they didn't like. There was criticism for it's unhealthy, high-sodium and high-sugar meals, and the pressure forced them to stared marketing healthier happy meals.

Apple has AppleCare, which provides a limited warranty on the product they purchased. This gives them technical support, replacements, fixing if damage, etc.
Customers do not just want to buy a product because it satisfy their needs. Instead, they are interested in becoming clients firms that offer them a complete product concept.
McDonalds had really bright coloured boxes and signs in their restraint so it was more attractive to kids and it creates a bond with kids and McDonalds.
McDonalds was selling goods such as hamburgers, fires, drinks, etc.. The foods satisfied the needs of the customers.
Apple has very unique and very well known names for their products, they have no changed since the start of the company. The classic "i" is in their products which shows it's from "Apple". The Mac, iMac, AirPods and Apple Watch are completely from Apple and the name is very well known.
Apple has competitors known for having aggressive innovation and marketing. Therefore, Apple has a marketing mix of various strategies to compete with these their competitors.
Apple focuses on their premium branding, so the iPhone being more expensive shows the customer that the product is of high value and quality.

McDonalds could achieve such low prices because they had high volume of production which made the cost of making the goods cheaper.
Apple's first product was the Apple I which was hand built by Wozniak and sold for $666.66 USD which is equivalent to $2,786.76 USD today.
Apple is down for having expensive products, this is because apple has a very high quality and value products which makes them to so expensive.

The first Macintosh computer commercial was announced in 1984 during the Super Bowl XVIII. This is a good strategy because many people attend the super bowl and with this, Apple announced their product while many people were watching.

Mcdonald's had a few restaurants to start with. The signs were big and bright coloured so that people would find them easily. By 1959, there were 102 restaurants nationwide. This made it easier for people to find and go to the restaurants.

Apple has eventually evolved into having many retail stores and online store all across the world. They have the large, bright apple logo on their stores which makes them easy to spot out.
Apple does not only have Apple Stores but also work with other companies to sell their products, for example, Fortress sells Apple's Products. There are also other stores that sell second hand apple products but also sell accessories like charging cables and earphones. However, they are not made form Apple, they are made for Apple.
