Impalement
The victim was forced to sit on a sharp and thick pole, when the pole was raised upright. The wight of the body would push it down and they would die, it can take up to three days for the victim to die.
Neck Torture
The victim would be hooded into a neck device. Ether made out of metal or wood. Which prevented the victim from adjusting. They could not eat, drink or sleep and more.
Iran maiden
The victim would be in a casket with spikes on the inside which could be closed slowly, impaling the living person inside.
Coffin Torture
they would put the victim in the coffin and the coffin would be smaller than the person and would be hanged from a tree or a gallows. They would be no food and no water.it would be cold and hot. they would evenly die and after they die the crows would eat the dead body
The Rack
They would tie your hands and kegs on other Sides. They will pull your limes until your limes come out of your body and you die
Hang, Drown and Quartered
They hang the victim until the victim was almost dead and tie the victim onto a horse and drag around the city. They would genitalia are burned in front of the victim.

How was it connected to the Battle of Hastings
The Bayeux Tapestry shows a depiction of the years leading up to the Battle of Hastings and the actual Battle itself where William the conqueror (Duke Willaim of the Normandy) defeated the king Harold of saxony and rose to the power the king of England in December 1066.
Knight
It was the duty of a middle-aged knight to learn how to fight and serve their liege lord according to the code of chivalry. Weapon practice included enhancing skills in the two headed sword, battle axe, castle and support his liege lord in the Middle Ages warfare. To gain knighthood in the medieval time was a long and difficult task.
Coat of Arms
Knights and Robles in the Middle Ages often had a coat of arms. This was a special symbol represented their family. Have a special symbol or coat or arm is often called "Heraldry" .

The Roman Empire has a central government. After Rome fell Europe has dozens of little kingdoms. Lots of fights between Anglo-Saxon kingdoms. Lots of attacks from Viking, Magyars (from east Asia) and Muslims.

What is a Manorialism
in the Medieval England, 'Manor' was more like a large estate, town or village. A 'Manor' house would be in the center of the state, like this on in Gloucestershire.it would be where the lord or vassal would live. A fief was all the lord's land. The manor was the part of the fief where the peasants framed and lived
The Black Death
What is the Black Death
The End of the world (almost) happened ,in the 14th century. A Plagues is a highly contagion disease which spread quickly (killing many).Plagues occurred all through out history, However, in the 1340s CE ,a particularly bad plagues hit China , India and Europe. The Plagues is called the Black Death. No one knows how much died but most between 75million -200 million people world wide or about 30-60% of human population.

The Black Death was a bubonic plague pandemic occurring in Western Eurasia and North Africa from 1346 to 1353. It is the most fatal pandemic recorded in human history, causing the death of 75–200 million people, peaking in Europe from 1347 to 1351. Bubonic plague is caused by the bacterium Yersinia pestis spread by fleas, but it can also take a secondary form where it is spread by person-to-person contact via aerosols causing septicemic or pneumonic plagues.

then there was everyone else. In the time of William 1, the knights and lards were all Norman French. With control of land came the control of the Anglo-Saxons (English) who lived there.
Merchants and Craftsman Smiths,tailors,bakers,that chars and so on) could perform their trade in exchange for goods and services or Maney. They had freedom them the serfs. With the rise of the Towns, they would rent their houses or workshop for their land. Same freeman could rent land from the lord to farm.

The catholic church was very powerful in Medieval England. The king may have ruler of England but the feared the church and the pop.
Domesday Book .
. William 1 commissioned a census (or stock take) of his first 'possessions' so he knew how much he owned (so he could tax everyone).This is known as the 'Domesday Book'.every acer of land ,forest, person and livestock in 1086 is recorded in the book
