Station A
Examine the solutions in each beaker and, using the chemical elements' electronegativity, predict the bond it presents (ionic or covalent)—results in table 1.
Connect the electrical circuit to the electrical current. Verify that there is electrical power. If the light appears go to step 3.
Insert the two loose wires into the beaker that contains H2O. (don't join them) If the light appears write the results in table 2. Deduce if the H2O contains ionic or covalent chemical bonds.
Introduce the two loose cables to the beaker contains NaCl solution (Don't join the cables). If light appears write the results in Table 2. Deduce if lt contains ionic or covalent chemical bonds.
Insert the wires in the beaker with H2O, to clean the wires of NaCl.
Repeat steps 4 and 5 with the other solutions: CaCl2, NaI, C12H22O11, CaO, CH3CH2OH.

Station C
Weigh 0.5 g of MnO2 onto wax paper, then introduce it to the test tube.

Insert the stick with hot coals into the test tube with the active reaction observe if any change happens.
