The development of phones has been dramatically advanced through time; the first phone was developed in 1849. Even cellphones from the 2000s, as illustrated in the image below,
It has been regularly enhanced and modified to make it easier to navigate and to make people’s lives easier as generations pass. Furthermore, societal acceptance of phones has been seen as favourable.
However, I saw that people from an older age, perhaps from the 1940s to the 1950s, still seem to lack understanding of how to use current mobile phones and have remained in the period of using a digital phone, which only has the dialling function. This has proven that social conventions have changed as a result of being able to connect with more people in a variety of ways, and individual conventions have changed as a result of needing to adjust to the advancement of phones through time.
