- - - - The way that Carbon Dating works is by comparing the three different isotopes of carbon. Isotopes of a particular element have the same number of protons in their nucleus, but different numbers of neutrons. This means that although they are very similar chemically, they have different masses. So you are able to find out how old an artefact or fossil is.
    - - The pathologist makes a cut on the body from the collarbone to the lower abdomen to examine the chest and abdominal organs. Tiny tissue samples are taken from each organ for examination under a microscope and may also be sent for chemical analysis or microbiological culture. In most cases, the brain is examined. They do this to discover more about the human body.
    - - Stratigraphy is used to identify how old an object, artefact or anything in between are, by identifying what part of the earth it was found in, the deeper the object is into the ground, the older it is, and the further up to surface level an object is the younger it is
    - - Coprolite Anylisis is the study of animal/human fecies, you are able to identify what the animals diet was, and depending on where it was found you may be able to see how long ago it was made, or what type of animal or species the animal that left it behind was.

        The roman republic used democracy to control the country’s, allowing the people to vote and contribute to the government and country, this is still used today, like voting for politicians.
    - - The Romans painted and made a lot of pottery for the households, for cooking, and cleaning. In our culture today we have cooking and cleaning pottery, too. We also use pictures and sculptures for decoration. In the modern day we use painted pottery for holding items, we use clay and pottery to make pizza ovens, this shows that we use roman art in the modern day.
        The Romans started making circus like performances, and miming, and during the modern day, there are still circus type performances that take place at special events, miming takes place at comedy shows sometimes, or even in acting, this shows that we use some Roman Art and Entertainent in the modern day
    - - Romans were the people who made Arches, Domes,m Columns and more, in the modern day, we use these in everyday buildings, for example the White House, BuckingHam Palce and more.
