Summary: Even while we shouldn't count on getting along all the time, constant conflict and tension can make us feel stressed out and damage our relationships. Resolving family conflicts amicably teaches kids learn to haggle and reach compromises, preparing them for positive relationships throughout their lives. When disputes are handled correctly, they may actually improve connections within the family.
