A total loser thats addicted to the internet. Most athletic discord moderator right here.

He lives in a decent house, enough to own a computer.

Biracial White/Indian

His mom, seems pretty great, His father we know from other chapters to be terrible, but maybe has changed.

He wants to learn more about his heritage

Wants to be better but can't muster up the determination to do it.

Maxine his grandma, Karen his counselor, his mom who's in jail. (3, 4)

"She tells me we’re Cheyenne people. That Indians go way back with the land. That all this was once ours. All this. Shit. They must not’ve had street smarts back then. Let them white men come over here and take it from them like that. The sad part is, all those Indians probably knew but couldn’t do anything about it. They didn’t have guns. Plus the diseases. That’s what Maxine said. Killed us with their white men’s dirt and diseases, moved us off our land, moved us onto some shit land you can’t grow fucking shit on." (3)

He regrets working for Octavio. "When he’s done he’ll look back up at the moon, watch the fog of his breath rise between him and everything. His heart will be in his ears thinking about the bullets in the bushes, the powwow. And wondering how he had wound up here under the moon, under the looming coliseum walls, hiding bullets in bushes." (1)

"I know Oakland. I know what it looks like when somebody’s trying to come up on me, like when to cross the street, and when to look at the ground and keep walking. I know how to spot a scaredy-cat too. That one’s easy. They wear that shit like there’s a sign in their hands, the sign says: Come Get Me. They look at me like I already did some shit, so I might as well do the shit they’re looking at me like that for." (3)

He does feel a connection to his people! He's not as willing to help threaten and kill them.

Tony does the supervillain backstory thing of "I'll give them a reason to fear me."

I feel bad for Maxine and Karen for dealing with his crap. His mom is in jail and barely involved with his life.

You can infer from this that Tony would've tried to fight back if he was there.
