ensured that the Australian parliamentary system be basd upon various parliamentary principles

INDONESIA VS AUSTRALIA
BACKGROUND

AUSTRALIA; parliament based on Westminster system, Federal with 6 states and 2 territories
Each sate and territory have their own parliament, constitutional monarchy

RELIGION AND POLITICS
INDONESIA: Nationals usually belong to one of the religions chosen by the gov, atheism not being an option. Indonesia has the larger muslim population in the world; in many regions where pork is banned and women must wear headscarfs
AUSTRALIA; nationals can belong to any or no religion whatsoever; with their biggest religion Christianity
CONSTITUTION;
INDONESIA; based on 5 nationalist principles (Pancasila); with 3 branches being Execucitive, Legislative, Judicial. The constituion can be changed by People's Consultative Assembly
AUSTRALIA; 3 arms of government; legislative, executive and Judicature. While the constitution can only be changed by a referendum by the people.
