The brain is responsible for complex behaviour. Brain + spinal cord= central nervous system

The Eye

The SCLERA - tough/supporting wall of eye. The CORNEA transparent outer layer at front of eye -refracts light. IRSIS contains muscles that control diameter of the PUPIL and how much light gets into eye. lens focusses light onto RETINA. Shape of lens is controlled by ciliary muscles and SUSPENSORY LIGAMENTS. OPTIC NERVE carries impulses from receptors on the retina to the brain.
