Suggestion: Club the culmination of Healthy Choices. Children sharing the routine in the form of a story

Each section to be given a dedicated collab space. Children can collect material during the nature walk and they decorate the same as per their wish. Teachers to label all that children bring in.

Settings (Later)
The educators dress up as different elements of nature - tree, clouds, leaves etc come together to create a setting
Elements of mindfulness and movement - sway like a tree, walk like a cloud.. 3-2-1
Painting the leaves, abstract painting, the whole class comes together to paint

Stepping into the character's shoes- Thinking from that perspective
Bring in stories from around the world
Comparing different contexts (Example: The festival of lights- Diwali and Hannukah)

Through the 2nd LOI we can also cater to the fact that feelings are universal and that feelings are something that everyone experiences - helping children understand perspectives, different ways of dealing with feelings and emotions
After the literary week "What did you do during all this time?" Elicit from children that you expressed and that is when we unpack the TD theme
Summative: Children use themselves as characters and present the stories as per their choice of presentation

Bringing in perspectives and encouraging children to use their thinking skills and think how they perceive the character
Guess game with other grades- children share the traits of the characters and the audience guess
Settings walk / Exhibition of settings
Each section takes a collab space and decides a theme and decorates the space. Each time the eductaor takes a story, she takes the kids to that area for narrating the story.

FA (LOI 2) in the form of Running Records
FA (LOI 3) We'll give them the beginning, they think of the ending on their own*
SA: Children create their own stories using elements like character and settings and structure like beginning, middle and end. Present it to Grade 2 (Dec 12-14)
Unit Culmination - Parade Children present their story to their peers from another section. (on Dec 15)
Unit end reflection (on Dec 16)
