Game modes
Tournament
One of the main game modes, pick a character and fight through a tournament against pre selected characters based on who you pick. If you win you unlock more tournaments and story for the character you picked. This is more akin to arcade fighting games and early console versions.
Online
Fight against other people online to test your strength. Enter casual to have a fun match or ranked for a more competitive experience .
Challenge/ arcade
Pick from various modes that will challenge the player, e.g.: fight against a certain CPU character with certain buffs and more powerful moves, fight under a time limit, use certain moves/combos, etc. There will also be local play for people in the same room.
Story mode
Play through the game's story through various fights, giving you a chance to practice the game and try out each character.
World
Similar to current earth, with mostly the same geography

Narrative
What starts as a competition to find the worlds best fighter, turns into a plot to eliminate the antagonists' opposition to world domination. The good fighters face off against the evil forces, culminating with the protagonist and antagonist fighting for the fate of the world and title of best fighter.
