Verb to be

Use:
The verb to be is used to say something about a person, Thing, or state.

Form sentences: Subject + verb to be + complement.

Exaples:

Affirmative: Jennifer Is really beautifull.

Negativo: I am nota drive car.

Question: Are they watching a movie?

There is/ There are

Use: There is and there are are used to indicate the existence of something.

Examples:

Can/Can't

Use: It is used to talk about skills, to ask for permission, to make a request, to talk about a possibility or to make an offer.

Examples:

Form sentences: Subject + Can/Can't + verb + complement

Present simple:

Examples:
Affirmative: I drink coffee.
Negative: You don't play basketball.
Question: Does she take the bus?

Use: It is used to talk about habits, routines or events that are repeated in certain periods of time.

Form sentences: Subject + verb + complement

Present continuous:

Use: It is used for situations or actions that are being carried out at the moment.

Examples:
Affirmative: I am listening rock
Negative: You aren't reading a book
Question: Is he working?

Form sentences: subject + verb to be + verb-ing

From sentences: There is/There are + subject + complement

Affirmative: There are two dogs in the garden.

Negative: There isn't a book on the table.

Question: Are there cats in this house?

Affirmative: I can ride bike.

Negative: Mateo can't drive a car.

Question: Can she swim?
