Use: Can be used to ask for permission or to grant permission to someone

Example positive: I can play the piano
Example negative: I can't speak Chinese

To express the existence of something
adverb there and the verb to be (is and are)
Example:There is a car on the road
Example:There are apples in the box
Present Simple
Use: To talk about habits, routines or events that are repeated in periods of time
subect+ do/does not+ main verb+ the rest of the sentence.
Example: My mom drives her car everyday.
Verb to be
Use: It is used to mention an action or state of the subject at any time
subject+ verb to be+ complement
Example: She is a student
Present continuous
Refers to situations or actions that are taking place at the moment
subject+ am/are/is (verb to be)+ verb ending in-ing.
Example: She is leaving tomorrow morning
