7. Creating a character

Background / environment: where does this person come from? Where does the character live? (country, social status, home, work, school ...)

Thoughts: what are character's ideas? what do they think about what is going on around them? What are their fears, dreams, beliefs?

8. Plot
Exposition: beginning of the story, characters, setting, conflict (problem or challenge).
Rising action

Character changes: learn more about themselves, about others and about the world around them.
Climax
-

sometimes a long description of a major piece of action; a long description of challenge or the conflict.
Result of the experience: see character changes when they have overcome the challenge and have learned the big life lesson in the process.
Falling action
Climax is over, need to wrap up the story.
See the character change in this stage: they become weaker or stronger? do you agree with the decision they made during the struggle they faced? do you respect them more or less than the beginning?
