Minerals: A nutritive substance that our body requires to build strong bones, and teeth, and it also helps to controll fluids inside and outside cells. Minerals mainly contain the element calcium, magnesium, and iron. Minerals are usually found in cereals, bread, meat, fish, milk, dairy, nuts, fruit (especially dried fruit) and vegetables. Deficiency in minerals will cause weak bones, fatigue, or a decreased immune system. Low Minerals cannot be treated with diet alone, it often requires multiple type of medical supplements. Similar to Vitamin, the patient might have to eat pills or go to a doctor.
