A Plant was genetically modified to produce natural pesticides so farmer did not have to spray for pesticides.. good idea except what ended up happening is the plant ended up expressing a gene that produced pesticide and herbicide chemicals. This became an ecological problem because plant reproduction is not as easily restricted. The Pollon was then spread outside the field to neighboring fields.
