Architecture- On page 20 is said "the first pyramid was built as a burial for kind djorser. False doors were built for the robber to get lost in and die.. (Hart)
Government- On page 10 it said that the "king was not only powerful it was believed to be a god , a Pharaoh".
Location- On page 8 it said That since desert covered 90% of Egypt, people lived on the banks of the Nile River. Also in the text it said that "when the Nile water subsided the farmers went to work sowing barley and emmer wheat. (Hart)
Writing-On page 34 it states that scribes had to be experts in reading and writing hieroglyphics. Also one page 34 it states hieroglyphics is an elaborate from a picture writing with about 700 different (Hart)

Art- On page 56 it said that china, luxury goods formed the major exports commodities- Chinese bronze, jade, silk, lacquer and oierceain were prized in asua us that chinese rulers who applied their crafts to different stages of the manufacturing processes(Cotterell)

technology- On page 22-23 it said that Throughout its imperial history empires encouraged development of science and technology, and for centuries. Also it said that (In the middle ages many chinese inventions were carried along the silk road to europe. Amilery spear, clock work,shield , and gunpowder are just some of the Chinese inventions.(Cottrelle)
Religion-On page 54 it says that they said they look at the garden as a work of art. They worship buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism. And early folk religion combined into ancient china. (Cottrelle)
Government- On page 6 it said that The first emperor united china under the Qin dynasty. Also it said that " He built the great wall to protect his empire weights to coins from the northern nomads, and stood chinese coin.Qin dynasty only lasted 15 years( cortelle)
Commerce- On page 58 it says 1279 to 1368 series of trade routes that ran throughout the empire. The silk road also traded religion such as buddhism. People normally travel on camels.(Cotterell)
