In the film "Daughter of the Dragon," Princess Ling Moy is a young, Chinese aristocrat who lives next door to the evil Dr. Fu Manchu, who wants to take over the world. She is involved with a man named Ah Kee, who is secretly trying to stop Fu Manchu. It turns out that Fu Manchu is not only her neighbor, but also her father. When she learns this, she must decide whether to join her father in his fight against those trying to stop him or to become a hero and save the world from her father's evil plans. The film is dated and does not feature much of Warner Oland, but it has plenty of action and strong performances from Wong and Hayakawa. If you are a fan of Charley Chan, it may be worth watching to see how much Oland's performance as Fu Manchu influenced the creation of Charley Chan.
