What I've learned helps me become a better OBM because I am starting to be aware of other factors that affect productivity and Job satisfaction that, in a beginning I wasn't aware of. My view of the situation was limited to incentives or paycheck; I believed that if you paid more, employees would be happier and work better; however, with what we've learned in class, this is not true. Many factors affect productivity and job satisfaction, and as OBM, we need to know about it. To become a better OBM, we also need Emotional intelligence because how will we provide a healthy work environment if we are not able to deal with our environment? When we apply emotional intelligence to ourselves, we also influence our employees and the people around us.
