Ancient china
Government: On pages 8, 44, 48, it talks about the Yuan dynasty. This shows that ancient Chinese government was feudalism. Feudalism is a system where people are ranked by power, from emperor to peasants usually. (Cotterell)
Religion: on page 26 it says that religion is spit up into three religions. Confucianism, Daoism, and Buddhism. These are the three major religions. (Cotterell)
location: Ancient China is in southwest Aisa under Mongolia. Over the course of years, the Chinese dynasties have expanded all the way to what we now know as modern day China! This is a short blurb about the location in China. (Cotterell)
art: On page 16 it said "No two soldiers have the same face - each is an individual portrait of a soldier from the qin army." The text also said " The soldiers once had real weapons, but these were stolen by tomb raiders." This shows the dedication to the emperor that Ancient China. (Cotterell)
Commerce (trade): The book said that trade spread really well throughout the Yuan dynasty. In fact, the text said "Trade flourished under the Mongol, or Yuan dynasty. (Cotterell 58)
writing On page 11, it said that shang kings use oracle bones to answer questions about important matters.The text saud " The cracks where then read to discover the answer put to the ancestors. as a result, people would write own questions and answer on the oracle bone. (Cotterell)
technology: In the text it said "The magnetic compass was an ancient Chinese invention." The text also said " The first instrument for monitoring earthquakes was invented in A.D. 130 by Zhang Heng, director of astrology in the late Han court. This shows how the Ancient Chinese people were very skilled at making helpful inventions. (Cotterell 22)
Indus River Valley
location
In the text it said "Around 5,000 years ago, a civilization developed along the Indus River alluvial plain". The text also says "The Indus River Valley covers most of modern-day Pakistan, the northwestern region of modern-day India, and a small portion of Afghanistan." (eyewitness book)

In the text it said "One of the most confusing aspects of this ancient civilization is that the writing cannot be deciphered." This shows that we don't know much about this ancient writing. We also don't know if this was writing? (eyewitness book)
Architecture / Technology
In the article it says that the ancient people and cities were thought tha hygiene was very important. In the text it says " These early cities show remnants of the world's earliest sanitation system." This is how I know that these cities cared a lot about hygiene. (eyewitness book)

While there is not much that we know about how these people lived their lives, We do know a little bit. In the text it said "However, they did leave behind two major collections of literature: 1) Mahabharata, and 2) Ramayana. There government system was very impactful in modern day society. One of the reasons is because they invented the caste system. In the text it says " The Aryan civilization had a large impact on modern-day India society. For example, one Aryan influence on modern-day India was the development of the caste system.
