Writing: On page 11, it said the shang kings used oracle bones to answer questions about important matters. Also it states that "The cracks were then read to discover the answer to questions put to the ancestors." As a result people would write down questions and answers on the oracle bone. (Cotterell)
Technology: The Chinese mainly focused on war technology as during that time period war was common. The chinese also invented decorational objects such as the taotie and harness ornaments. They had advanced technology as of the pictures on page 14 & 15 show that the have crossbows which were a new weapons at the time. (Cotterell)
Art: On page 56 it states that luxury items were heavily exported from China, and artisans were well respected in china. Some of these exported goods such as bronze, jude, and silk. China's art is also really beautiful according to one of the paragraphs. (Cotterell)
Commerce(Trade): On page 58 & 59 the Chinese made the Silk Road, which was a road going to the west, in which merchants could easily trade items and goods. When the mongols rued the empire they permitted merchants to freely trade through out the empire.The mongols allowed merchants to come and go so they could get profit. (cotterell)
Religion: Ancient China focused on Confucius , in which they believed the kindness, respect, and strength of the family is what China should turn to, as there was lots of power and greed during that time. The name derives from the chinese philosopher . Confucius, who went around and preached about his beliefs. I know this because on page 12 it says "Confucius believed that the early years of the zhou dynasty (1027-256 B.C) were golden years of social harmony. (Cotterell)

Religion In the text it said,
Government the author wrote that "sumerians rulers enjoyed great power and fame and their exploits and deeds were remembered for centuries . "An example is Gilgamesh was a ruler of Uruk, and was very famous. (Steele 10)

Location: The author wrote "most of ancient Mesopotamia lay within the borders of Iraq." Also, Mesopotamia included portions of the countries of Turkey, Syria, and Iran. (Steele 6)

Indus River Valley
Location: In the article it states that "Around 5,00 years ago, a civilization developed along the Indus River alluvial plain. In south Asia due the large amount of fertile land and proximity to a water source. Over time a vast number of settlements were built on the banks of the Indus river and surrounding areas."
Writing: In the article it states that "One of the most confusing aspects of this ancient civilization is that the writing cannot be deciphered. Over 400 symbols have been uncovered from different locations. Many of the symbols are located on seals, ceramic pots, and other types of materials."
Architecture/Technology: In the text it says that "The people within the Indus Valley created well-planned cities. Specifically, the people during this time cared deeply about hygiene, and their cities resembled the importance of this idea. These early cities show remnants of the world's earliest sanitation system.
Religion: In my resource it says "The major religions in the subcontinent are Hinduism, Islam, Sikhism, Buddhism, and Christianity. The chart below shows the different religions in South Asia and the percent of the more than 1.29 billion people who practice each of them. The majority of the people in South Asia practice Hinduism."
Government: My resource states " In South Asia, five countries have parliamentary governments, including Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal and Pakistan. Of these, three are federal republics (India, Nepal and Pakistan), one is a unitary republic (Bangladesh) and one is a constitutional monarchy (Bhutan).
Constitutional monarchies, absolute monarchies, one-party states, federal states, dependent territories, liberal democracies and military dictatorships are all factors in the region, as well as various forms of independence movements.
