government: In the text it says "Gaozu led one of the peasant armies That over through the Qin dynasty in 207 B.C. although Gaozu wa uneducated, when he realized the empire needed educated administrators". This shows that he realized that the government needed it. Also, The test paper shows a candidate's answer so they would get more education. (cottrell 18) 
religion: The text says China is the worlds oldest counties civilization. I know this because we have learned about the dynasties and how old it is. China was remained untouched for a while when they stopped trading. (cotterell 6)
art: In the text it says "China has always been renewed for its exquisite arts and crafts". This shows when they renewed there arts and there crafts. Also, they had luxury goods like chinese bronze, jade, silk, lacquer, and porcelain. (cottrell 56)
writing: in the text it said an ox bone or shell from a tortoise was burned until it cracked. Also, the text says that "the cracks were read to discover the answer to a question put to the ancestors." The oracle bones were mainly used by the shang kings. (Cottrell 11)
Technology: The text says some of the worlds greatest inventions came from china. They would find ways to communicate. They used technology for people to communicate. (cottrell 22)
commerce: In the text it says "the mongol emperors ruled china from 1279 to 1368 and permitted merchants to trade freely throughout their vast empire". This shows people throughout the silk road would use it for trade. Also, international trade thrived because caravans could travel without danger. (cottrell 58)
Location:The text says Traditional chinese medicine is based on the use of herbs. I know this because they would find things for medicine. They interest medicine for 4,000 years. (cottrell 28)
