Mesopotamia
location: in the text it said that "the ancient greeks called it mesopotamia, meaning "between the rivers". mesopotamia is now modern day iraq. (steele 6)
writing: on page 12 it said the very first writing was made by using clay and clay tokens, this later evolved into hundreds of simbls with different pronounciations and meanings (Steele 12-13)
architectur: on page 46 it says "a series of rulers bilt luxurious palaces within their walls." We could also say that they made images on the walls to represent people or events. (steele 46)
religion: In The text it said that they adapted the sumerians gods. I know this because on page 14 it said " Later mesopotamian peoples took up or adapted sumerian gods, sometimes giving them new names"

government: on page 10 it says " city-state rulers were honored with various titles, such as en (lord) , ensi (governor), or lugal (king). A symbol of power is a mace with a detailed head made of, typically, limestone) (steele 10,11)
art: in the text it said the mastered many things in the early years of their time. one of these things was how they bake clay. (steele 28)

religion: on page 24 it said "the egyptians worshiped hundreds of gods and goddesses, and sometimes it was hard to tell who was who." for each nome (administrative district) was its own god.

writing: In ancient Egypt they used a system of writing called hieroglyphics, but they also used cuneiform at times. hieroglyphics used at least 700 symbols to represent different "words". i am aware of this because on page 34 it says " scribes had to be experts in writing hieroglyphs, an elaborate form of picture-writing with about 700 different signs" (hart 34)
location: on page 8 it said the desert covered 90% of egypt. people lived on the banks of the Nile river. also in the text it said that "when the nile river subsided ,the farmers went to work sowing barley and emmer wheat

architectur: on page 20 it says that the first pyramid was billt in 2650 BCE. it also says that they were used to protect the body's of the pharos. (hart 20)
government: on page 10 it says that kings were referred to as the "great house" and queens as the "great royal wife". It also says that the only known reason pharos' were assassinated was to put a non-full heir to the throne. (hart 10)
