Art: On page 56, it said "China has always been renowned for its exquisite arts and crafts." Also it stated that " After the scholars and the peasant farmers, artisans were considered the most important members of society(Cotterell)". As a result, art was idolized in Ancient china
Technology: On page 22, it talked about How some of the worlds greatest inventions came from china and how most emperors encouraged science and development. Also it said "In the Middle Ages many Chinese invention were carried along the Silk road to Europe". (Cotterall)
Religion: On page 12, It said That Confucius had developed a different view due to the turmoil of the lords and lands. Also, It stated that "As a result, the Chinese came to see themselves as part of a greater family that encompassed not only the living but also the dead and the unborn." This ideology lead to a more unified Ancient China.(Cotterell)
Location On page 9 , it talked about the Chinese empires beginning in northern china. The text also said "Their heartland was the fertile land around the yellow river"(Cotterall)
Trade: On page 58, it said "The Mongol emperors ruled china from 1279 to 1368 and permitted merchants to trade freely throughout their vast empire". As a result, this boosted the economy of China and the trading business.(Cotterell)
