Government: India was separated into different levels called the Caste system. The different leverles are called Bhramin, Kshatriya, Vaishya, Sudra, and the Untouchables. Bhramin is the highest, and the Untouchables are the lowest. (Prentice Hall:World Studies)
Religion: In the text it said, they are mostly Hinduism, that is what we know. They are polytheistic, and their religion is known as Brahmanism. That is what I found. They also have many other religions but they are mostly Hinduism. (Prentice Hall:World Studies)
Ancient China
Government: On page 16, it said The first emperor thought he ad all the power. The text said that, "Zheng took the title First Sovereign Qin Emperor, or Qin Shi Huangdi." In the text it also said, he thought that he could be immortal from being the emperor of China, but that isn't how life works." As a result the emperor made is so he was the first person to rule and thought he was the most powerful. (Cotterell)
Technology: On page 22, it said a whole lot of fantastic inventions came from China one of them being technology. In the text it said, "emperors encouraged science and technology, for many centuries China Led other nations in these areas." Also it said, during the time called the Middle Age trading these inventions from China to other places was a huge deal for everyone. As a result China made great inventions that led to the world being better using these inventions, all to China's inventions. (Cotterell)

Commerce(trade): On page 58, it said it became more popular around 1279 to 1368. In the text it said, "Trade flourished under the Mongol, or Yuan Dynasty. The Mongol emperors ruled China from 1279 to 1368 and permitted merchants to trade freely throughout their vast empire." Also it said, They could import goods, from China to other places around China. As a result, They would use trade in China and it became more popular when the Mongols started to rule over China. Art: On page 56, it said that China has often talked about their amazing and interesting crafts that they make. in the text it said, "artisans were well thought of in China." Also the text said, they were called to be the most important people in China. That is why art is so popular in China because of the artisans. (Cotterell)
