Backyard safari
Learners will draw the map of their school and use binoculars made out of toilet paper rolls, the learners will observe which spot does the birds visit more. .
Birds can be observed birds using binoculars in the backyard.

Learners will make binoculars out of toilet paper rolls and use them to observe how birds get their food, water and shelter and share their experiences.

The learners will go around the school grounds and hunt for feathers, and match the feathers. They will use soft feathers as feather dusters in the class.

Flightless birds, they rely on the ability to run and swim.
Birds that swim, they have to webbed legs that helps them swim.
The learners will make bird feeders to attract the birds, the will watch how did the birds arrive to the bird feeder, did they fly or run? Learners will also share with the class what part of the body helps the bird fly or run. the learners will then draw the part that helps the bird to run or fly.

The learners will pick any favourite part of the bird's body and create their own using papers and discuss why they chose that part.
