Do you feel the pupil has benefited from the music therapy sessions? What are the main areas of change/development?

He has grown in confidence and is beginning to arrive to school on time. This has had a positive impact on his learning. He has been building more friendships with others.

Yes! They have grown in confidence and are much more involved in class discussion/social situations.
There is one pupil in particular in which I have seen a huge difference. She was incredibly quiet and could look lost in social situations. She now comes to seek me out and is gaining confidence in initiating communication.
[The pupil] is so happy knowing that he is going to music therapy and when he comes back from his sessions. He is more confident when talking aloud in class and is verbalising his need to slow down when talking to be understood. He still finds new or challenging tasks tricky but is more willing to verbalise this to an adult and ask for help rather than sitting upset as he frequently was before.

I've enjoyed seeing videos/photos of their progress! Great to see the connections between classroom and music room.
