Strengths?
Our strengths included the activities we used to make the class as interactie as possible.
Students were set a time limit per question to keep the atmosphere lively.

What did students learn?
Students are learning to hold a general conversation in Irish
Students are learning to ask questions in Irish.
Studets are learning to enjoy Irish class.
Students are learning that activities such as pictionary can also be used in Irish class.
Students are practising their pronunciation & pheonetics
What strategies worked well in supporting pupils learning?
utilising fun activities such as Pictionary & Geandáil Gasta (speed dating)
Team teaching, showed the students if the teachers can interact well with eachother then the students can too.
Mixing the two classes in the common room , worked very well, allowed the students more space to move around and to interacht with one another.
Gave them more freedom.
Dedicating a room for oral practice with another class created a positive new atmosphere/environment for learning.
When were your students most engaged?
Students were most engaged during conversation.
Students were given a series of questions to interact with.
Students enjoyed pictionary.
Students were engaged through collaborative work.
How did you feel about this lesson?
Positive.
Students enjoyed watching both teachers interact and co-teach.
Students enjoyed working with other classroom, as they split in fourth year.
Great bonding session.
Ciorcal comhrá - students roamed around the room speaking to a different collegue every few minutes.
