Give each child time to think about the new idea and figure out how to solve it on their own.
Small bits of information from the teacher can be used as learning cues, and questions can be asked to help the child stay on task.
Teachers should observe attentively, listen intently, and respond to questions simply as children engage in their discoveries.
Instead of giving orders, a teacher's job is to help.
