        Medical technologies sets high standards and expects a better quality of their work because they’re not just running some tests or performing them, they do this to save lives and our society. Without medical technologies, there will be no performed tests, as a result of delaying prevention and improving outcomes of health issues.
        
        Passionate
        
        Medical technologists must be passionate, especially in learning, as this profession has unending learning. And they’re used to working under pressure and can finish a task once started because this path requires hands-on talents in a laboratory environment.
        
        QUALITIES
        
        Flexible Schedule
        
        Entering the med-tech field isn’t easy because you are mostly at work in the hospital, as laboratories are open for about 24hrs a day, seven days a week, together with the holidays and weekends. Moreover, you should always be prepared to work during odd hours.
        
        Communication Skills
        
        Medical technologies must have good communication skills. So, if you want to be in the med-tech field you must have great communication skills, and you must be an active listener also to have effective communication with other doctors about different projects and to convey one’s results.
        
        Critical Thinking
        
        Med-tech field requires to have critical thinking skills, it is because medical technologists are the ones detecting important medical issues and conditions. Solving problems in the laboratory tend to compare and contrast the results until the medical technologist spot the solution that will give great benefits. Furthermore, having this skill can improve patient and safety outcomes, and better-quality patient care.

        Any engineering problems and projects require a high degree of creativity and innovation.

        Engineers face challenges, it’s part and parcel of the job. Those challenges could be a complex problem that appears to be completely resistant to a solution, or an issue with a client that is difficult to fix.

        Pilots must have excellent communication skills. Whether they are communicating with air traffic control, passengers, flight attendants, or their co-pilot, communication is key to a safe and successful takeoff, flight, and landing. Pilots must be able to speak clearly and authoritatively and be able to get straight to the point. They must also be able to understand what others are trying to communicate to them.
        
        Pilots must be able to make decisions based on their knowledge and experience. While most flights will be completely by-the-book, if something out of the ordinary happens, a pilot must be able to call on their previous experience or understanding and make split-second decisions about how to handle a situation.
        
        This quality has two meanings. First, you must have respect for the craft of flying. You must also have respect for your actual aircraft. Respect for the craft of flying includes never taking short-cuts and ensuring that you follow all procedures each and every time you fly.
      - Characteristics
        
        Pilots must be able to demonstrate the ability to remain calm even in difficult or scary situations. Whether a passenger is being unruly or threatening, you lose communication with the ground, something malfunctions on the plane, or a major storm forms, you have to stay calm. When you begin to panic, you lose your ability to make informed decisions about what to do next.
        
        Situational awareness means appreciating everything that is going on throughout flying, controlling and maintaining an aircraft. Pilots must learn to have a mental picture of the location, flight conditions, configuration and energy state of their aircraft — as well as any other factors that could affect its safety.
        
        Pilots need to have a strict attention for details. You likely remember the first time you looked into the cockpit and saw dozens of buttons, gauges, and levers. There are a lot of things that must be accounted for and letting one step slip your mind can be disastrous.
