        Recounts texts retells the event and it is usually done to inform or entertain.
        
        Example:

        They do not follow the usual practice of chronological reporting meaning that a Non-Chronological report gives out information about a topic which doesn't follow any kind of timeline of events.

        What do they do?: Pandas play an important role in the forest ecosystem where they live. Seeds and plant matter collects on their fur, which is then deposited as they move throughout their habitat. They also climb trees and swim, which further helps disperse the seeds.
        What do they eat?: Pandas subsist almost entirely on bamboo, eating from 26 to 84 pounds per day.
