Clothing can be made of many different materials as well as a combination of multiple types of materials, the change of material usage has many varying effects on the texture and quality of the clothing.
Clothing made from harder materials tend to be stronger and long-lasting, where as thinner/weaker materials will lack majorly in quality as well as durability.
When it comes to work uniform, they tend to be designed based on the type of job at hand as well as functionality, more physically demanding jobs will require the uniform standards to be tougher in quality to offer a form of protection as well as resistance.
Changes in the environment will also have an impact on the type of materials used when designing clothes, colder environments will require thicker layers of materials to be used as this will help with keeping warm, warmer environments would require thinner materials to hold less heat to help with staying cooler.
