Histology, Muscular Tissue, Epithelial Tissues, Connective Tissues,…
Histology
-
connective tissue fibers- produce 3 types of fibers in connective. Elastic, reticulated
loose connective tissue-areolar tissue thin delicate membranes located binds skin underlying tissue.
Adipose tissue- contain adipocytes store fat in cytoplasm found under skin between muscles around kidneys around abdominal membranes
-
-
Simple squamous epithelial- made of a single layer cells have broad thin nuclei and the diffusion and filtration sites lines blood lymph vessels in body cavities
Simple cuboidal epithelium- single layer cubed-shaped located in the nuclei lines most of kidneys, covers ovaries lines ducts glands surface faces lumen
Simple columnar Epithelium- made of one row tall elongated cells located near the basement membrane. Nonciliated cells line uterus stomach intestines and protect underlying tissue and absorb tissues . Some cells contain tiny micovillii
Pseudstratified columnar epithelium- cells vary in shape have cilia along free surface reach basement membrane and contains goblet cells scarred around and this id found in the respiratory system
Stratified Squamous Epithelium- multiple layers designed to protect underlying tissue the outer cells undergo keratinization . It mostly make sup outer layer of skin of mouth esophagus
keratinzation does not occur in areas where cells are moist such as oral cavity vagina anal canal
Stratified cuboidal epithelium- consist of 2-3 layers of cuboidal cells lining of the lumen it also lines the mammary glands salivary pancreas ovarian
Stratified Columnar epithelium- several layers in cells columnar cells on surface found in the male urethra and lining the large gland ducts cuboidal cells in basal cells
Transitional epithelium- Designed to distend (Stretch) composed of several layers irregular shapes. Found in linings of the urinary bladder urethra ureters . Cilia is also on the cell
Dense connective tissue- densely collagen fibers tissue withstand pulling forces and found in tendons ligaments deep layer skin white layer of the eyeballs
Cartilage- rigid connective tissue supportive framework protects underlying tissue models for developing bones. It lacks vascular system heals slowly cartilaginous structure enclosed with connective tissue
chondrocytes within lacunae(chambers) in matrix
Bone- Rigid connective tissue collagen fibers flexibility supports and protects body structure s in cranial thoracic blood cell Bone- stores and release chemicals2 type of bone tissue compact and spongy the bone cells are osteocytes with lacuane and matric in concentric circles. (lamellae around central or in canals
Blood- Transport substances through body composed of formed elements suspended to plasma and transports between inferior cells and it exchanges nutrients gases waste from environment. Elements include red blood cells to carry oxygen
Skeletal Muscle Tissue- Muscle that attach to bones. Cells are long and cylindrical. it is voluntary controled by conscious and has a striated appearance and only contract by stimulated nerve cells.
Smooth Muscle Tissue- Lack striations and it is invlountary cannot be stimulated to conscious effort and can be found in the internal organs in the digestive tract and the blood vessels urinary bladder
Cardiac Muscle Tissue- Foundonly in the heart and it has branching cells and the cells are connected by intercalculated dics containing gab junction and its involuntary controlled and its striated
Epithelial Membranes- thin composed of epithelium and connective tissues covering body lining body cavities
Serous Membrane-lines internal cavities of the body forming a smooth transparent two layered membrane
