goals
the main goals i have for my game is that i want it to be super simple yet very enjoyable and easy to play
-
i want people to all be able to reach or get up to this boss after a bit of time playing the game after beating this i want it to go into free play mode
it is very important to have goals in a game otherwise quickly the game will get boring as there is nothing to work for or look up to getting/achieving
themes/settings
themes or settings are a major feature of a game because in reality nobody wants a bad looking game right? the environment also need to suit the game and needs to also flow along with the story line
for my theme i will most likely be using some sort of old building or warehouse in the middle of the night this will most likely suit my game theme better.
objects
you want some objects to be interactive and consumable you also want them to have an impact of how to reach to goal (like using a bow and arrow to defeat a monster) this requires strategy skill and time to work for this object or thing
there also needs to be things that arent able to b used by the player but you want them for other things like barricades puzzles and many many more things
sounds/soundtracks
soundtracks also boost the games enjoy ability as it creates tension suspense and makes the game overall just interisting
sounds can turn the tide of a game of match easily just a couple foot steps to be heard of and explosion in the distance can give someone and easy advantage i will most likely be using this to make the game realistic and more enjoayble
