Individual Rights: The rights needed by each individual to pursue their lives and goals without interference from other individuals or the government.
Limited Gvernment: affirming that the kings power was not absolute. The government is limited in power.
Thomas Hobbes(1588 - 1679): He was an English philosopher who developed the notion of a social contract between rulers and their subjects.
John Locke(1632 - 1704): He was a political theorist and philosopher whose ideas helped lay the foundations for democratic government.
Rule of Law: The restriction of the arbitrary exercise of power by subordinating it to well-defined and established laws.
Equality in the Eye of God: God does not lack justice in any way. Therefore, this parable should help us to accept the fact that life may not always be fair.
