English tenses:
Time Used to show whether a sentence (or verb)refers to an action that happened in the past, is happening in the present Aspect: show the time-related characteristics of a sentence such as whether a verb is ongoing, repeated, or completed.
Importance of Tense:
The concept of English verb tenses is very important in establishing effective communication Hence, if you want to maintain both ways of communication better, that is, speaking and writing.
Mood:
is the form of the verb that shows the mode or manner in which a thought is expressed. Mood distinguishes between an assertion, a wish, or a command. The corresponding moods are: Indicative (assertion), Subjunctive (wish), and Imperative (command).
Tiempo verbal en Español:
Llamamos tiempos al conjunto de formas verbales que presentan la acción de la misma manera y corresponden a un mismo tiempo (pasado, presente o futuro).
Modo:
corresponde a las diferentes modalidades en que se expresan los tiempos verbales. Se conocen el modo indicativo, que indica acciones concretas; el modo subjuntivo, que indica posibilidades, y el imperativo,
que representa órdenes o instrucciones.
Aspecto:
indica si la acción es acabada o inacabada respecto al momento de la enunciación. Se expresa con los términos perfecto (acción acabada),imperfecto (acción inacabada) y pluscuamperfecto (una acción anterior a otra).

Word Order in English:
Standard word order is the most common sentence pattern in English. The SUBJECT comes before the VERB. Main elements in Word order: The
standard word order in English is: Subject + Verb + Object. To determine the proper sequence of words, you need to understand what the subject, verb and object(s) are. Subject: typically a noun or pronoun—the person, place or thing Verb: the action or state of being Object: the word or group of words influenced by the verb
Key points to remember about Word order in English:
Adjectives often come before the noun, also adjectives can also be placed at the end of a sentences by using a stative verbs, the adverb is placed at the beginning of the sentence before the subject, but the subject still comes before its verb and most adverbs can be placed in any of the positions in a sentence without changing the meaning of the sentence.
Orden de palabras en Español:
Por lo general, el español presenta la información discursiva con el siguiente orden de palabras: sujeto (S), verbo (V) y objeto (o). Esta combinación se acompaña de frases adverbiales en la posición final, es decir, se presentan después del objeto. Cognates and False cognates considerations:
Cognates are words with the same meaning that are spelled and sound similarly in two different languages. They are useful tools for developing English vocabulary skills. Recognizing these words in a text make things easier for the reader sample: Doctor = doctor, Piano = piano. False cognates are words that are spelled and sound similarly in two languages, but do not have the same meaning. For example, a native Spanish speaker may read the English word "embarrassed" and draw an association to the Spanish word "embarazada," which translates to "pregnant" in English.
