- - - - 2003: Alden Shares Football with North East Hamilton (A-NEH). Squad numbered about 58 and in the same exact district Alden was in the previous year had a 4-5 record.
        
        2003: After finding out how many Junior High kids we would have for football it was clear to me could not field a team. NEH had put a poison pill in the agreement that would only allow us to share football with them.
        
        Once the decision was made to share football with NEH, Alden was to have an assistant on the team and they made me (The Head Coach apply against a former assistant (Tyler Jass) The fix was in and I had to wait while he interviewed outside the office where I could hear them laughing and joking. When I went in it was clear they were not in that mood. They questioned everything I did. It didn't take me long to figure out what was going on and I reminded Mr. Scissor I had taken the smallest team ever into the playoffs and he had never made it.
        
        After the last game in 2002, I knew we could not field a team in 11 man football. We had practiced with 12 guys during 2 a days. by the end of the season we had a squad of 21 and a 3-6 record. We were very young and as we got better so did the competition. I was very proud of that team!

        Interviewed for the Head Football Coaching position- Again. Was up against Dick Tighe this time. I prevailed and was named the Head Coach!

        Not qualifying for the playoffs, parents turned against me along with our AD Kim Nelson who sent out a survey for her class and it was terrible. We beat BGM 58-8 the last game and they had a petition to get their coach fired and our parents tried the same thing. Once the players heard about it they started a petition to keep me and that ended it right there. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/752523418958895770/
        
        I wanted to share Football with CAL-Dows because they had good track athletes and with our Coaching staff we would have had a very tough playoff contending team. The big mouth at Deckers told CAL-Dows and everyone else what I was thinking and the whole thing blew up.
        
        I Approached Jon Seizer about the possibility and he and Lurlin Hoelscher on the NEH board took advantage of us.
        
        Once it got out that we would be sharing JH football the parents of NEH had a meeting about me. It was brought up that I use psychological warfare in football and God knows what else. One of the most prominent athletic families after the season said" I don't know how good a politician he is, but he knows his football."
        
        I was told I could not have anything to do with the Offense and was made the Defensive Coordinator. Our defense allowed 2 touchdowns all season (12 Points)
- - - - I stated that I would like a chance to be on the Varsity staff and Pat said "You will have a hard time coaching in Iowa Falls because people in Alden didn't like the way you did things"
  - - - I asked Coach Rickels how the MS Football program was run and if everyone got equal playing time and he said " No, we play to win around here"
        
        After year 3, we had a record of 27-3 and that's when all these rules and conditions started to come down from the varsity about changing language and plays and everything else.

        I applied for the Head Football position again.
        
        I did not get an interview
        
        I announce my retirement from Football on Facebook.
        
        I emailed Pat Norem (11:30 AM), because I hadn't heard anything about interviews yet. I could not image that I wouldn't get one. So while we were waiting to leave for our Track meet in Gilbert I opened my email and found this from pat: "Everyone that is going to get an interview, has already been contacted"
