Meaning: Her beauty will never truly die or be forgotten, because the young man depicted in the poem will always remember her and her beauty.

Both of these lines are personifications, because they both give human characteristics and actions to non-human things. The first line is a personification, because the act of shaking is done by "Rough winds". The second line contains a personification, because the line states that death can brag. This is impossible for everything that is not a human.

During the analysis of this poem, I used a few reading strategies, in order to understand the poem better, and identify the different structures in the poem. I reread the poem a few times, so that I can better understand the meaning of the poem. When reading the poem, I try and synthesize all the information I've gotten, and see how my thinking changes throughout the different rereads. Then, I infer, and find out what Shakespeare actually wants to say with the poem, by reading between the lines, and finding the hidden meaning of the poem. Finally, I summarize, and write all the structures of the poem
