Narrative Poetry
Narrative poetry is a form of poem that tells story that usually is dramatic and is filled with various characters.

Types of poem
Haiku
Haiku contains 3 lines and the rhyme scheme is ABA. 5 syllables in the first and third lines, and 7 syllables in the second line.
Elegy
Elegy poem is the poem that reflects upon death or loss. It has 4 lines, each lines written in iambic pentameter, and the rhyme scheme is ABAB.

Sonnet
Sonnet is a 14 line poem. And the 14 lines are divide into 4 groups. The first three groups are quatrain (4 lines) and it concludes with 2 lines group. It has 10 syllables per line. And the rhyme scheme is ABAB CDCD EFEF GG
Ode
An ode usually written between three and five stanzas. It praises an individual, idea, or event. Usually the rhyme schemes was ABABCDECDE. And each stanzas contains 10 lines.
Ballad
Ballad in poetry is a form of verse that is often set and can be adapted to a song lyric and turned into music. The rhyme scheme is ABABBCBC ABABBCBC ABABBCBC BCBC.
Blank Verse
Black verse is an unrhyming verse and written in iambic pentameter or each lines carry 10 syllables.
Free Verse
Free verse in poetry is the type of poem that has not limit to the regular rhythm, yet it does not considered to be completely free.
Epic
Epic poems are usually about the adventures of a hero. This poem is written in formal language and dignified style. It also contains third-person narration.
