**Goals of the School of ICT
-Produce globally competent and quality graduates who have appropriate
knowledge and technical skills, have developed personal and social values
and adaptive to the work environment,
-Inculcate in its students the value of independent and life-long learning;
-Provide valuable services to and share expertise and facilities with various
stakeholders on the transfer and promotion of intformation and
communications technology for local, regional and national benefit; and
-Harness and undertake relevant ICT research directed towards mission-
critical, public service-sensitive, development-management-supportive and
revenue-generating areas.**
Objectives of the Bachelor of Science in
Information Technology**1.Provide activities that enhance students' knowledge and skills which are
essential for their field of work.
- Conduct researches in the field of Information Technology and share the
result through extension services and technology transfer.
- Train students to work effectively on teams, whether as a participant or as a
leader.
- Develop ethical behavior as an IT Professional and sensitivity to the impact of
technology on society.
- Develop and improve desirable values through values integration and socio- cultural activities.
