Android
Pros
- Low Price - Compared to iPhones, Android mobiles come at a significantly low price, considering that they provide you with more options.
- Open-source Software- Since Android OS is considered an open-source software, you can customize Android for your specific purposes (if you are a developer).
- Many Brand Options- Many mobile companies are making their mobile phones by implementing Android as their OS since it has many users and is well-customizable to all.
- Many Mobile Applications- Since it’s open-source software, many app developers and some creative individuals love to make something new, which is useful for society. As a result, there are numerous options in games and mobile apps on Android.
Cons
- All mobile companies optimize the Android OS to different custom UIs such as Funtouch OS, MIUI, color OS, one UI, oxygen OS, etc. The customization makes it rather challenging for the user to use that Smartphone.
- Easily hackable by professional hackers.
- They don’t provide the software updates appropriately, except for the Android One mobiles, which receive the updates fast.
iOS
Pros
- Excellent Spec’s- They utilize the best quality materials when it comes to iPhone manufacturing. Besides, they offer the best mobile SoC, best cameras, great build quality, security, and best display.
- Great Security- iOS is well known for the safety they provide for online purchasers and user privacy.
- Unified Software Updates- Apple often releases updates for each iPhone simultaneously, regardless of whether it’s a newly launched mobile or an old mobile. They can also provide OS updates and security patch updates for an extended period with Android mobiles.
- Great Software Experience- iPhones provide us with the most straightforward software experience.
Cons
- In iOS, there are expensive apps and lacks widget support.
- iOS has less apps compared to Android, and it’s kind of closed source software.
- In recent iPhones, they eliminated the touch ID.
- The iOS supports iPhone devices only. Lacks flexibility for all mobile phones.
- The iPhone’s design hasn’t changed much for the past two years.
- They don’t offer any fast chargers in the box.
- Lastly, the iPhone’s cost is much higher than other Android phones with similar or better specifications.

- Windows Phone 8.1 runs flawlessly with voice and video calling, texting, browsing, navigation, even GPS tracking.
- Windows phone is comparatively cheaper than any other smartphone.
- Windows phones are mostly Responsive. No problem at all with tapping, flipping, scrolling, rotating screens and lag-free.
- Many Latest models of windows phone support wireless charging.
- WiFi signal and LTE signal has great strength.
- Some windows phone has an extraordinary feature. It transmits voice, text, and email over Bluetooth headset or car kit perfectly.
- Windows phone has Parental Controls feature, which allows you to manage your children’s downloads.
Cons
- In windows phone, there are fewer apps available than android or iOS.
- Screen glasses of windows phone are not good enough, it gets cracked easily and not safe from scratch.
- For some windows, phone models have limited screen standby functionality. It allows up to 5 minutes only.
- Windows phone OS sometimes unresponsive and it gets stuck.
- “Blue death screen” is a horrible experience of Windows Phones for many users.

Push mail: RIM (Research in motion) incorporated push mail service in Blackberry sets. 8. Security: As most hackers move to android and iOS so Blackberry have few changes of hacker attacks.
Cons
- A small number of apps: The Blackberry apps are very less than android and iOS
- Bluetooth sharing: Bluetooth sharing is hard and difficult to configure in Blackberry.
- Permissions for messenger: If you use Blackberry messenger (BBM) then you may need special permission for using BBM in some countries.
- Low processing speed: The operating system in Blackberry is old and the processing speed is not good as compared to other new mobile sets.
- Difficult to use: Some Blackberry mobile is bigger and heavyweight to put in your pocket.
