This intramural fibroid may interfere with uterin contraction resulting in abnormal bleeding during menstruation
Pain may be due to torsion in produnculated fibroids or degeneration in fibroids located in the uterin cavity
They may cause pressure on the pelvis which results in pain, urinery frequency, urgency and constipation
The risk of infertility, placenta abruptio and premature labour are high
Fibroids begin as single or multiple seedlings in the myometrium and gragually grow over a long time

management depend on the size, location and symptoms
in cases where symptoms are a thread to the women's health and therefore life threatening and patient does not plan to conceive the uterus may be removed
