pathophysiology
staphylococci produces toxin that contain serine proteases acting on desmoglein
than spread under the stratum corneum in the space formed by toxin
causing epidermis to split below stratum granulosum
forming large blisters occurring in epidermis
nursing management
advise patient to use bactericidal soap when bathing
advise patient to wash hands frequently
keep the child from scratching and touching the infected areas of the body
instruct a patient not to squeeze a boil or pimple
administer medication which may include systemic or topical antibiotic
