Izuku Midoriya confides in his former girlfriend, now best friend, Ochako Uraraka, that he finally realized why they didn't work out. He really doesn't think he's straight. Ochako wonders how she didn't see it before, and says she'll support him no matter what.
Weeks later, in their internships, Izuku comes across a girl who he has to save before he can get to Iida, and she doesn't manage to thank him.
The girl follows the heroes across the rooftops and sees the Stain fight, and follows the hero students to the hospital
The girl visits the three students in the hospital, letting herself in the window. Tenya is about to call for help, when Shoto reminds him that he can freeze the girl if she tries anything.
She saunters over to Izuku, explaining her quirk, Wish. She can see the deepest desire of anyone and make it come through by kissing them on and part of the skin.
She asks Izuku what he thinks his deepest desire is, and he responds that he wants to be a hero.
She laughs and tells him that it actually took a few seconds for an image to appear, and that he is in incredible denial. She proceeds to take his hand. She asks if he'd like to know what he knows but doesn't believe.
She says as thanks for saving her life, she will give him his deepest desire. She kisses his hand and Izuku begins to shine with a green glow
Shoto prepares to defend his friend, but the girl tells him and Tenya that the process has begun and it can't be reversed. She insists she didn't lie about anything, and says their friend will need their help to come to terms with the fact that he, well, she wanted this more than anything in the world
