Definition
A rare genetic condition that causes mainly non-cancerous( benign) tumors to develop in deferent parts of the body.
Pathophysiology
It involves mutations in certain genes ( CT1 and CT2) that are responsible for the production of proteins that usually help regulate cell division and growth in the body. It is a genetic disease with a broad clinical spectrum that has the potential to affect almost every organ system.
