- - - - Blue collars and white collars are an ancient tradition that doesn’t make sense anymore. Blue: collaborate in the production
        -White: collaborate in the management of the company (much more protected), the main distinction is that if blue collars get sick, the first three days of sickness were not paid, while white collars were paid since the very first day. oday there is no more distinction because service sector expanded and workers make only the machines function. Managers can be considered high skilled white collars because they can be either workers directing other workers or simply very high skilled workers.         as an alternative to collective dismissal: it happens when many workers are fired due to economic reasons.

      - Maximum Weekly Working Time > 48 h ( 24h rest every 7 days )
      - Maximum Daily working time > 13 h ( 11h of daily rest ). The legislation should set the maximum duration of a working day but it set only the hours of rest for a worker per day > 13h so indirectly tell us the working time
    - - Daily break > if u work more than 6 h > at least 10 min break
      - Daily rest > 11 hours out of 24
      - Weekly rest > 24h rest every 7 days
      - Paid annual vacation > min 4 weeks ( 2 might be continuously if requested by the employee ) > the employer choose the time of the holiday. The employee has the right of paid holidays. If the employee doesn’t enjoy his holidays within the deadline, he is sent to mandatory holidays ( only if the employee suffer a big illness, he can convert his holidays into sickness leave> congedo di malattia) .
