Management depends on the size,location and symptoms.

The operation is known as myomectomy this procedure relieves the symptoms and allow pregnancy to occur.
In cases where the symptoms are a threat to the womens health and therefore life threatening and the patient does not plan to have conceive the uterus may be removed
Risk factors
the cause of fibrods are not known , there is evidence of acceleration growth during pregnancy due to hormonal changes

Pathophysiology
fibroids begin as single or multiple seedlings in the myometrium and gradually grow over a long period
They may cause presssure in the pelvis which result in pain,, urinary frequency, urgency and constipation
The intramural fibroid may also interfere with uterine contraction resulting in abnormal bleeding during menstruation
This could be menorrhagia, hyper- menorrhoea and metrorrhagia

Pain may be due to torsion in pedunculated fibroids or degeneration in fibroids located in the uterine cavity
the risk of infertility, placenta abrutio and premature labour are high
nursing care plan
constipation

monitor intake and output and record, replace the lost fluids
